Secure cloud storage

Your files, encrypted — and you hold the key.

FitzleKey Drive is encrypted storage for everything that is yours: documents, media and more, in sync between the web app and mobile. Your personal Drive is zero-knowledge by default: only you and the people you explicitly authorize can read your content — we cannot. Open to everyone, worldwide — the European alternative to the typical cloud drive, hosted in Switzerland, in the heart of Europe.

Drive, Files, Vault — what each means

Plain names for plain things, so you always know where your data is.

  • DriveYour secure storage, synced across every device.
  • FilesWhat lives inside — documents, photos, the papers that matter.
  • VaultThe zero-knowledge protection: only you hold the key. The default for your personal Drive — it applies per workspace.
  • Sync & offlineYour files in the web app and on the go — available offline.

Drive is one of the platform modules — one secure base, and you switch on what you need.

You hold the key

FitzleKey Drive is encrypted in transit and at rest, backups included. Your personal Drive is zero-knowledge by default: the key stays with you, and we can neither read nor restore your protected content. The protection mode applies per workspace — zero-knowledge or, as a deliberate choice for teams that need search and recovery, managed and recoverable. Account data and technical structural metadata (such as file sizes, timestamps, memberships) remain visible for operation. No trackers, no ad profiling, no training AI on your files. Sovereignty here isn't a setting buried three menus deep: it's the starting point.

  • Zero-knowledge by default: we can neither read nor restore your protected content
  • No trackers, no ad profiling, no AI training on your data
Storage where the key is yours, not ours.

Share data, encrypted

Most encrypted storage makes you choose: keep a file private, or share it. FitzleKey Drive is designed so you don't have to: you share with another FitzleKey account — as viewer or editor — and the share stays under the encryption. Only explicitly authorized people can read. Encryption you can actually live in.

  • Share with other FitzleKey accounts — viewer or editor
  • Revoke access at any time

In the web app and on the go

Drive works where you do: in the web app and on mobile — with secure synchronization and offline access.

  • Web app and mobile — one login
  • Offline access on the go
  • Scan from the app: paper becomes a filed document

One base for you, your team, your practice

The same secure storage serves more than one need. For individuals, it's a private home for the documents that matter. For teams, a shared space with viewer and editor roles. For practices, it's the storage under FitzleKey Praxis, with managed keys so practice files stay recoverable — one foundation, several uses.

  • Individuals — a private home for sensitive documents, zero-knowledge by default
  • Teams — a shared, managed-recoverable space with roles: right where search, previews or admin recovery are needed
  • Practices — managed-key storage: regulated records stay recoverable

The legal ground: Switzerland

Where data lives decides which law protects it. FitzleKey Drive is hosted entirely in Switzerland — a country with its own strict data-protection law (revFADP) and an independent legal tradition, in the heart of Europe. On top of that, Drive is built to meet the GDPR. We apply that standard of protection to every customer, wherever they use Drive: your Drive content is stored and processed in Switzerland and is not transferred to third countries.

  • Drive content: 100% stored and processed in Switzerland
  • That standard of protection is included, never an upsell
  • No transfer of your content to third countries — we apply this standard of protection to every customer, worldwide

FAQ

How do I get access to FitzleKey Drive?

Access opens in phases: the waitlist is notified first. One email is enough — no spam, no sales tactics.

Can I use Drive outside Switzerland?

Yes. FitzleKey Drive is open worldwide. Your data lives in Switzerland, and revFADP + GDPR are the standard of protection we apply to every customer, worldwide — the data location is the foundation, not an access limit.

Can FitzleKey read my files?

In your personal Drive, no — it is zero-knowledge by default: we can neither read nor restore your protected content. What remains visible is account data and technical structural metadata (such as file sizes, timestamps, memberships) that operation requires. Practice records and managed team spaces, by contrast, deliberately use recoverable managed keys so regulated data is never lost.

Can I still share a file if it's encrypted?

Yes — that's the point. Drive is designed so sharing works under encryption: you share with another FitzleKey account — as viewer or editor — and only explicitly authorized people can read. You can revoke access at any time.
